The greater part of our happiness depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances.

It's all you! Just do it!

I remember seeing this video a long time ago, but I still find it amazing though. Always puts a smile on my face =)

MakesMeThink.com =)

similar to FMyLife.com just 10 times better! Heres a few ones that made me smile, well more than a few lol....

Today, a homeless man came into the coffee shop I work at and dumped his whole cup of change into our tip jar. He said, "You guys always give me your change when you leave for the night, so I wanted to return the favor for once." MMT

Today, and every school day, these two girls bring a boom box and dance in the hall before our chemistry class. When I asked what they were celebrating, one happily replied, "Life!" MMT

Today my good friend, a paraplegic with cerebral palsy, informed me that he wanted to ask a very beautiful girl to home coming. I thought he was crazy. But she said yes. MMT

Today, my dad told me and my little sister that we might lose our house. I was sad, angry, worried and stressed. My 14 yr old sister asked me whats wrong. When I told her, she said, "It's just a house. I don't care where we live, as long as we're together." MMT

Today I was walking home from campus and complaining to my brother about how I hate not having a car in college. A blind man with his guide dog walked beside me and said, "Try being 34 and never owning a car. Something tells me you'll own one again very soon." MMT

Today my father told me, "Stop looking for somewhere peaceful. Find it in yourself and carry it wherever you go." MMT

Today, my father told me, "Sometimes, you have to let go of the good things to catch the great ones." MMT

Today, my best friend confided in me that he's having trouble playing a depressed character because he has no emotional tie to the role. He's overweight, not very good looking, 17 and never been kissed, and a total theater and science nerd. But he loves who he is, and he's happy. MMT

Today I was giving campus tours and had a student in a wheel chair in the group. We talked all day and he never stopped smiling. I found out that he had a scholarship to play basketball before his accident left him paralyzed. He told me, "It didn't ruin my life, it just changed my circumstances." MMT

Today, I was a crying at a park over an argument I had with a friend. As I was leaving, a little girl ran up to me. Grinning widely, she said, "You looked sad so my mom said I should give you these." Then she pulled out hand-picked flowers from behind her back and gave me a hug. MMT

Today, my teacher told me to "make a good day." I replied, "Don't you mean 'have a good day?'" He smiled and said, "No, you can't have a good day, you need to make it a good day." MMT

Today, I returned home after being stationed in Iraq for 9 months. While I was still in uniform, I went into an ice cream shop near the airport to get a milkshake. The girl behind the counter handed me my shake and said, “It’s on me.” “Thanks, you didn’t have to do that,” I said. “Neither did you,” she replied. MMT

Today, and every weekday at 9AM for the last 4 years, I have walked past the same 3 street bums on my way to work. One of them is always strumming a guitar and the other 2 are always singing. And they all have huge smiles on their faces. Sometimes their smiles are the only smiles I see all day. MMT

Today, I was walking in Ocean Beach when I saw what I thought was a homeless man sitting on a curb with a cardboard sign. As I walked by he said, “Give me a smile and I’ll give you some money.” I grinned ear to ear and he gave me a handful of change. His cardboard sign said, “Your smile makes my day.” MMT

Today, I met a cute white guy at a local bar. In conversation he mentioned that he supports same sex marriages. I politely asked him if he was gay. He chuckled and said, "My mom supported the Civil Rights Movement. Do I look black to you?" MMT

Today, my 21 year old son's alternative rock band received a record deal from a major record label. I spent the last 5 years trying to convince him that college was the smarter way to go. But he stood his ground and pursued his dream. And now he's living it. MMT

Today, my company employs 130 intelligent individuals and turns a net profit of nearly $500K a year. I started this company 10 years ago after I was laid off by IBM. If they hadn't laid me off, I might still be working in a cubicle at IBM today. MMT

Empower your Inspiration

I have decided to make a blog devoted to empowering people's inspiration after I tried to find a site that listed inspirational videos and quotes and updated new stuff regularly. I wanted to find a site that I could just go to everyday and be able to find new inspiring information and videos. I wasn't very successful in finding one, I found plenty of sites that had lists of inspirational quotes and stories but not any site that had lists of videos or a site that updated new information.

So I figured I guess I'm on my own here, now I plan on achieving what I was wanting and trying to find. I'm going to try and every day find at least one video or quote or story that I believe is inspiring and that others may find inspiring as well. By doing this I hope to empower my own inspiration and others. Constantly reminding myself and others the ability we have to achieve anything, the inspiration we get from helping others, how others can and do inspire us, and how we can inspire others by posting new and different inspirational videos, quotes, and stories everyday =)

Today I'll start off in posting this YouTube clip called the Free Hugs Campaign and a YouTube clip of Susan Boyle from Britains Got Talent show. The first one makes me want to just go up to some random person and give them a hug hahaha, how awkward would that be lol. Don't judge a book by its cover is what I think of when I watch Susan, and that we really are capable of amazing things. Just too bad I don't have a voice like her hahaha
